Enticing Bhutan AMANKORA ~ Bhutan
Thimphu, Punakha, Gangtey, Bumthang and Paro

Combining 'aman' - the Sanskrit derived word for peace - with 'kora' or 'circular pilgrimage' portrays the exquisite series of lodges that are Amankora of Bhutan.

A journey of discovery beneath the Eastern Himalayan peaks amidst dense pine forests with a blending of natures tranquillity and local culture and cuisine is what dreams are made of at Amankora.

Each resort is equipped with a meditation room, yoga facilities and second to none facilities for conference and corporate needs.

Each has a different setting as you move through the mountains. Punakha is located on the banks of the MoChu River while Gangtey situated in the beautiful Phobjikha Valley is small with only eight suites and within close proximity to the Gangtey Goempa - Monastery.

The Bumthang region is home to no less than 29 temples and monasteries. The sixteen-suite Amankora rests adjacent to the Wandichholing Palace within the town of Jakar.
